A Monkey and A Trekkie

Lazlo and myself, in the control room, with the board. (or was it the candlestick?)

As you know, I am quite humble, but my knack for taking pictures of myself and others is astounding.
Well, we just couldn't help ourselves so you will find some rough cuts from the new album on our myspace. Just click the link if you're new to this internet jive and it will take you right there. It's easy. A monkey could do it.

Yup yup.....

I did Aconite cuz I finshed up a little "early" tonight/morning with mixing and I felt inspired.

This ROUGH ROUGH ROUGH mp3 will be up 'till Sunday:

A little tweaking here and there but that's the genral idea/sound I invisioned.

enjoy! It's about 6.3megs and for some reason it sounds better in iTunes than it does in Quicktime 7.

Take care,
Adam Lazlo

hey laz!
sorry for the delay...tryin to get school finished up and all...
it's hard to tell what is really sounds like since I've only had a chance to listen to it through my tiny computer speakers. it sounds pretty good, though. the instruments sound too far in the background to me...i'd like them to hit like a ton of bricks, less radiohead more Queensish (of the stone age), ya know, heavy heavy. i don't know if you can make this happen with what we gave you. let me know the limitations there...i do think the vocals sound really cool...
you are the man.-

I went it what you gave me. If you want the "distortion" part to be HUGE than I can do that but it might seem outta place. I don't know if the song itself lends to that sorta power. I guess if we did some overdubs with some extra "brown overtones" it might lend itself to grimace. The mp3 mix I posted is "going with what you gave me" but yet again I can go "over the top" if you want me to especially with the Marshall distortion parts; if you're lloking for some stoner-rock saturation.
