Its been 1 day since I left Zach on an open road in Omaha...
Danny and I rolled up to the Sokol Underground in Omaha to see a huge line of kids that winded down the block. We looked at each other, "wha..?" Then we noticed the marquee:

Ohhh, we're downstairs, so, KK upstairs. Yaaay! We're smart! We figured it out!
Anyways, the two of us (Z to the P drove separately with a friend) had to park and unload on the street, right in front of the main door, directly through the line (ten deep) of kids. We locked the van after every trip so kids wouldn't walk off with gear, and it took us forever. It was funny because kids and old guys kept asking us for extra tickets and back-stage passes. We felt like real roadies!
Sleepeater opened the show, and rock was had by all. We had a cool sound guy which is rare, he plays in a band called the jazzwholes. We almost had no sound man as there was a little mix-up with scheduling, but Hector and the boys called their connections and pulled out a cool show.
Thanks Anchondo! You rock.
>special thanks to Eric Miller (from Band from Earth). Not only is he a wicked player and songwriter, the guy is an awesome git-fiddle worker-oner. (or an incredible craftsman/restorer/electronics guru if you want to get technical.) He did some amazing work on my '76 Fender Mustang, and I pooped a little when I saw/heard it. Thanks Eric!
